11th MEETING of the EUROPEAN FORUM on ANTIPHOSPHOLIPID ANTIBODIES

Prof. Denis Wahl, General Coordinator of the European Forum on Antiphospholipid Antibodies, welcomes you!

Dear members of the forum,

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 11th Meeting of the European Forum on Antiphospholipid Antibodies, which will be held in Maastricht, The Netherlands on September 25-26, 2018. In our view, this Forum meeting provides an excellent opportunity for European clinicians and scientists involved in the field of the antiphospholipid syndrome to meet and strengthen current or future collaborations.

The venue will be the ‘Sint-Lambertuskerk’, a monumental church built around 1914 in Maastricht and named after the Maastricht-born Saint Lambert. Additionally, we provide the opportunity to participants to experience the historical, cultural and culinary delights of Maastricht.

As in previous meetings, there is no registration fee for speakers and participants. Of course, hotel and travel expenses should be covered by the participants. Each participant must complete the registration form. Additionally, we also invite sponsors and people working on APS though they are not members of the Forum, yet.

Interestingly, the 4th Maastricht Thrombin Summer School Meeting is organized on September 26-27 in the same venue. Thrombin generation is receiving growing appreciation, and this educational symposium gives an overview of the most important (clinical) applications of thrombin generation, while bringing together the leading investigators in the field of thrombin generation.

We hope to welcome you all in September 2018 in Maastricht.

Best wishes,

Dr. Bas de Laat, Dr. Philip de Groot and Dr. Hilde Kelchtermans
